Monet Garden at Vetheuil Painting Canvas Print Reproduction Art

This is for a Reproduction of Monet's Garden at Vetheuil Painting.
In 1881 Monet launched himself into a painting project around Vétheuil. He concentrated primarily on his garden which stretched out in front of his house at a lower level than the road, down to the Seine. This way, he was able to capture on canvas the memory of the places he would soon be leaving. These works compete with each other in terms of luminosity. Monet suggests the downward slope of the ground using the canvas in vertical format and through the play of shadow and light on the ground, which gives the image a feeling of depth and perspective. The figures, Michel Monet and Jean-Pierre Hoschedé, liven up the composition and emphasize the sense of the garden’s vast size in relation to the human scale. But above all, Monet brings together his previous experiments in this work: the fragmented touches of colour illustrate his mastery of the optical mixing technique and make the vegetation shimmer even more vibrantly.

We only use the finest quality Canvas material for all of our prints. Canvas prints are textured to give you that artistic effect so images will not be as glossy as they look on screen. We only do canvas print because personally we believe they hold more value and quality than posters plus they last years without fading.

This is for a CANVAS PRINT. It is not mounted, framed, stretched in any way (so you will need to frame or wrap it).

If you are interested in having it mounted, we do offer WRAPPED GALERY STRETCHED on a 1.5 inch for an additional cost. You can contact us to find out how.

Your CANVAS PRINT will come with an extra 2 inch border. Meaning if you order an 8×8 print, you will get a 10×10 print with 8×8 being the actual image and 2×2 being a blank border. This is done so that if you plan to wrap your canvas print, you can do so effectively without disturbing the image. If you DO NOT want the 2 inch border, please indicate that upon checkout.
